Overview
Project Management is where your team plans and tracks marketing work inside LayerFive, next to the data that drives it. It gives you tasks, shared project workspaces, four ways to view your work, and an AI Inbox that turns performance findings into suggested tasks.
It sits under Axis in the left navigation, with four areas.
| Area | What it's for |
|---|---|
| My Tasks | Your personal view of the tasks you own, across every project |
| Projects | Shared workspaces where a team organizes work, each with its own tasks, docs, and settings |
| AI Inbox | Tasks suggested automatically from your marketing performance, for you to review and act on |
| Templates | Saved project setups you reuse when creating a new project |

Ways to view your work
My Tasks and each project offer the same four views, so you read the same tasks in whatever form fits the moment.
| View | Use it when |
|---|---|
| List | You want a sortable, filterable table of everything |
| Kanban | You are managing flow across statuses and want to drag tasks between stages |
| Calendar | You are planning around dates and deadlines |
| Timeline | You are looking at how tasks span across days and weeks |
Across all views you search by task, filter by assignee, group tasks, and export. Use Add Task to create one by hand.

Task statuses
Every task moves through five statuses, shown as columns in Kanban and as colors across the other views.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not Started | Created but not yet begun |
| In Progress | Being worked on now |
| In Review | Work done, awaiting review |
| Completed | Finished |
| Blocked | Stalled on a dependency or blocker |

How the AI Inbox fits
The AI Inbox is what makes this more than a standalone task tool. As LayerFive analyzes your marketing data, it surfaces issues and opportunities and proposes them as tasks, each with the finding behind it.
These are suggestions, not instructions. Review each one against your own data before acting, the same way you would weigh a recommendation from an analyst. The AI Inbox exists so nothing worth looking at goes unnoticed. The decision to act stays yours.

What to check and when
| Situation | Do this |
|---|---|
| Starting your day | Open My Tasks to see what is assigned to you |
| Setting up a new workstream | Create a Project, ideally from a template so statuses and fields stay consistent |
| Reviewing what LayerFive found | Open the AI Inbox, read each suggestion's finding, and act on the ones your data supports |
| Standardizing how your team works | Save a Template so every new project starts the same way |
