AI Inbox

Last updated on Aug 10, 2026

Overview

The AI Inbox is where LayerFive turns analysis into suggested tasks. As it reviews your marketing performance and your meetings, it flags things worth acting on and proposes each as a task, with the finding that prompted it attached.

This is the part of Project Management that works for you rather than waiting for you to fill it.

Where suggestions come from

AI Inbox items come from two sources, and the Sources column on each item tells you which one produced it.

Scheduled performance analyses. Recurring analyses run in Juno on their own cadence, for example Best and Worst Performing Ads, Campaign Analysis, Adset Analysis, and Audience Analysis. Each run adds its findings to the inbox as tasks. Because they run on a schedule, the inbox refreshes on its own.

Meeting notes. Through the Fathom meeting-notes integration, the AI Inbox captures action items from your meetings. It reads the transcript, identifies what was agreed and who owns it, and adds each as a task, for example a follow-up assigned after a specific meeting.

Every item carries a short description of the finding, so you see the reasoning, not just the recommendation. A pending count at the top shows how many suggestions are waiting for review.

Two ways to view the inbox

Switch between two layouts with the toggle at the top right.

List view shows items as rows, with task name, description, date created, status, assignees, priority, due date, and source. Best for scanning many suggestions quickly.

Card view shows each item in full, with an AI Suggested badge, a breadcrumb of where it came from, for example the platform, campaign, and ad group for a performance finding, and the complete note behind it. Best for reading and acting on one at a time.

Reviewing and acting on a suggestion

Each suggestion gives you two actions.

Edit lets you adjust the task, set an assignee, priority, or dates, and accept it into your work.

Reject dismisses a suggestion that is not relevant, which removes it from pending.

You can filter the inbox by Priority and by Source to work through the highest-value items or focus on one analysis at a time, and set start and due dates on any item you accept.

Suggestions are for review, not automatic execution

Treat every AI Inbox item as a prompt to investigate, not a command to run.

The AI Inbox is good at surfacing things worth your attention across more data than any person reviews by hand. It does not replace your judgment about whether to act. Before acting on a suggestion, especially one that proposes a budget or spend change, verify the finding against your dashboards and your own read of the account. Confirm the numbers, confirm the change makes sense, then act.

This matters most for suggestions tied to a specific campaign or ad group. Check that the underlying data holds up before making a spend decision on it. A suggestion is the starting point for a decision you own, not the decision itself.

Managing what feeds the inbox

The scheduled analyses that populate the inbox are managed in Juno, not here. Open Juno and click Scheduled Tasks at the top right. Each scheduled task shows its cadence, next run, and last run, with a toggle to turn it on or off. Add one with the plus, run one immediately, edit its schedule, or remove it. Switch off an analysis you do not find useful and it stops adding items.

Meeting-derived suggestions come through the Fathom integration. Manage that connection in Integrations.

What to check and when

Situation Do this
Reviewing what LayerFive found Open the inbox and read each pending item's note
A suggestion proposes a spend change Verify against your dashboards before accepting
Too many pending items Filter by Priority or Source and work through them
An analysis is not useful Turn off its scheduled task in Juno
Following up after a meeting Look for Meeting Notes items and accept the ones you own

Troubleshooting

Issue Check

No meeting tasks appear Confirm the Fathom integration is connected and syncing
A suggestion's numbers look off Verify against the relevant dashboard before acting. Report persistent mismatches to your CSM
