Projects

Overview

Projects are shared workspaces where a team organizes related work. Each project holds its own tasks, its own views, its own documents, and its own configuration, so different workstreams stay separate and cleanly owned.

Navigate to: Axis → Project Management → Projects

The projects list

The Projects screen shows every workspace you have access to. Each project card shows its name, its owner, its task count, and when it was created.

Search by project name to find one quickly when the list grows.

Creating a project

Click Create New Project. You start it either from a template or as a blank project.

Starting from a template is the better default. A template carries a standard set of statuses and fields, so the new project matches how your team already works instead of starting empty. Start blank only when no template fits.

See Templates for how templates work.

Inside a project

Opening a project gives you its own set of tabs, which are broader than the top-level module.

Tab What it holds
Tasks The project's tasks, in a sortable table with status, assignees, priority, and dates
Calendar The project's tasks on a monthly calendar
Timeline The project's tasks across a date range
Kanban The project's tasks as cards by status
Settings The project's configuration, including its statuses and fields
Project Docs Documents that live with the project

Within any of the task views you can add a task, search for tasks, filter by assignee, group, and export, the same way you do in My Tasks.

Ownership

Every project has an owner, shown on its card. The owner is the point of accountability for the workspace. Task counts on each card give you a fast read on which projects are active and which are empty.
