Overview

The Visits & Visitors dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of website traffic, visitor behavior, visitor identification, and traffic source performance.

It helps businesses understand:

  • Website traffic trends

  • Returning visitor behavior

This dashboard is designed to provide visibility into audience growth, engagement quality, and website performance over time.


Accessing Visits & Visitors

To access the dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Web Analytics

  2. Click Visits & Visitors

The Visits & Visitors dashboard will open.

The selected date range is displayed at the top-right corner of the page.

Changing the date range updates all analytics and visualizations across the dashboard.


Dashboard KPI Overview

The top section displays key website traffic metrics. These KPI cards provide a high-level summary of website activity during the selected period.


Total Visitors

The Total Visitors card displays the total number of unique visitors recorded during the selected date range. This metric represents distinct individuals visiting the website.

High visitor counts may indicate:

Clicking the metric opens detailed visitor records.


Known Visitors

The Known Visitors card displays the number of identified visitors. Known visitors are users whose identities have been recognized through:

The percentage shown beside the metric indicates the ratio of known visitors compared to total visitors. Known visitor tracking helps businesses:

Returning Visitors

Known Visits

The Known Visits card displays visits associated with identified users. This helps businesses analyze:

Returning Visits

The Returning Visits card displays repeat website visits from returning users. This helps measure:

Visits by Media Source

The Visits by Media Source chart displays how different traffic channels contribute website visits over time. The chart visualizes daily traffic trends across multiple acquisition sources. Examples of media sources include:
