Overview

The Shopify Order Analytics dashboard provides detailed insights into Shopify order activity, customer behavior, revenue trends, and attribution performance.

The dashboard helps teams analyze sales performance, track customer segments, monitor coupon usage, and understand customer purchase journeys across different marketing touchpoints.


Accessing the Shopify Order Analytics Dashboard

Steps

  1. Navigate to Dashboards

  2. Select Shopify Order Analytics


Date Range Selector

The date range selector controls the reporting period displayed across the dashboard.

KPI Summary Cards

The KPI cards provide a high-level overview of Shopify sales and customer performance.

Interactive KPI Drilldowns

Several KPI cards support detailed drilldown analysis. To access a drilldown report, click directly on the KPI metric value displayed on the dashboard card. This opens a popup breakdown report with detailed insights related to the selected metric.

Gross Sales Breakdown By Tags

The Gross Sales Breakdown popup displays revenue contribution grouped by Shopify order tags.

Available Metrics

The popup includes: Tag, Order Percentage, Orders, Revenue Percentage, and Revenue

New Customer Gross Sales Breakdown

Review sales generated from newly acquired customers.

Orders Analytics Filters

The dashboard includes multiple filters to refine order analysis.

Media Source Filter

The Media Source filter allows users to analyze orders based on traffic or marketing source. Sources include: Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Email, Direct, TikTok, and Pinterest

Coupon Code Filter

The Coupon Code filter allows users to search and analyze orders associated with specific coupon codes.

Customer Type Filter

The Customer Type filter helps segment order data based on customer classification.

Available Customer Types

Customer Types filters, such as: All, New Customer, and Returning Customer

Sort By Filter

The Sort By filter controls which metric is used for sorting the Orders Analytics table.

Available Sort Options include: Order ID, Revenue, and Number of Touchpoints

Order By Filter

The Order By filter controls the sorting direction. Such as: Low to High, and High to Low


Export Functionality

The Export button allows users to download Orders Analytics data for external reporting and analysis.
